Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuing directions to the respondents to regularize the services of petitioner with effect from the date of his initial appointment, i.e. 04.09.1982.

Despite the case having been called twice, none come present on behalf of petitioner. It appears that petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present petition. As a result thereof, there is no option except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.

"Dismissed for non-prosecution".
