By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reimburse the medical bills to the tune of Rs.11,44,772/- along with interest @ 12% p.a. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though legal notice dated 09.06.2018 (P-5) was duly served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any benefit has been released. He further submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to take a conscious decision upon the legal notice (P-5), within a stipulated period.
