Prayer made in the present petition for quashing the order dated 25.10.2013.

Averments made in the present petition reveal that the petitioners were working as a Tabla Master and Harmonium Master and the revised grade granted to Artists from Rs.1900/- to Rs.3600/- w.e.f. 01.12.2011 vide notification dated 23.11.2012.

Learned State counsel refers to the impugned order as also the written statement to contend that their post and that of Actors were in different cadres and thus no anomaly was involved, moreover, these posts have been declared as diminishing cadre by the Government vide memo dated 03.05.2001, Annexure R1. However, the petitioners had been granted special grade pay of Rs.150 w.e.f. 14.11.2011, Annexure R-2.
