By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count past service rendered by him with Haryana Tanneries Ltd. from 05.05.1977 to 30.11.1988 for protection of pay, seniority, retiral benefits, pension and all other consequential service benefits.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents No.2 and 3 to decide representation dated 16.01.2018 (P-9), within a stipulated period. 3.
