Dated Police StaƟon SecƟons 02.04.2021 Amargarh, District Sangrur 18/21/22/29 of NDPS Act The peƟƟoner incarcerated in the FIR capƟoned above, has come up before this Court under SecƟon 439 CrPC seeking bail. 2.
Custody cerƟficate dated 01.08.2023 filed by State counsel today in the Court is taken on record. State counsel on instrucƟons from HC Hardeep Singh submits that trial is at fag end and the maƩer now fixed for 18.08.2023 for recording of the statement of the accused under SecƟon 313 Cr.P.C.

AŌer arguing at length, counsel for the peƟƟoner confines his prayer for extension of bail granted to peƟƟoner vide order dated 23.03.2023 passed in CRM-M13752-2023. He submits that trial is fixed for 18.08.2023 for recording statement of accused and peƟƟoner undertakes to appear on each and every date of hearing without a single default. He further submits that he has no objecƟon in case of his non-appearance, trial Court cancel his bail. He further submits that the previous bail bonds/surety bonds be also extended.

Considering the medical situaƟon of the peƟƟoner, the prayer is allowed and interim order dated 23.03.2023 is extended Ɵll 30.09.2023. It is clarified that there is no need to furnish fresh bail bonds/surety bonds and the previous bail bonds/surety bonds are also extended Ɵll 30.09.2023. It is further clarified that if the peƟƟoner fails to aƩend even a single date except due to the medical constraints and the inabiliƟes because of the medical condiƟon then on this ground alone, the bail shall be cancelled. 5.
Given above, the present peƟƟon is disposed of. All pending miscellaneous applicaƟons, if any, stand disposed of.
