After arguing the matter at length and failing to demonstrate any cogent threat perception, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to follow up his representation already filed with the competent authorities. 2.

In light of the above, the present petitions stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Needless to say, the State is duty bound to protect the life and liberty of all its citizens.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the liberty granted if any is only on the request of the counsel and is not a direction.
