  Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will be satisfied if Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural i.e. respondent No.2 is directed to look into the representation dated 22.08.2022 (Annexure P-5), made to him by the petitioners in this regard and take appropriate action on the same.

As per averments made in the petition, both the petitioners are major. Dates of birth of both the petitioners are 12.02.1999 and 05.12.2022, respectively. Copy of Aadhar card of petitioner No.1 and copy of date of birth certificate of petitioner No.2 are appended with the petition as Annexures P1 and P2, respectively. They got married on 22.08.2022 as per Marriage Certificate, Annexure P-3. Photographs of the marriage are Annexure P-4.

  At the asking of the Court, Mr. Mavpreet Singh, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural to look into the representation dated 22.08.2022 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law.
