FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA AND OTHERS .....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR JAIN.
Present:
Mr. Karan Gupta, Advocate, for the petitioner.
*** RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that the petitioner has already approached the Food Corporation of India (FCI) for constitution of the Grievance Redressal Committee but so far the Committee has not been constituted.
It is submitted that the petitioner has though an alternative remedy but in the absence of the Grievance Redressal Committee in place, petitioner cannot raise the dispute before the same. Thus, an innocuous prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue direction to respondent-FCI to constitute the Grievance Redressal Committee so that the dispute raised by the petitioner may be decided accordingly.
In view of the prayer made in this case, I do not find any necessity to issue notice to the respondents as the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent-FCI to constitute the Grievance Redressal Committee, if it is not already constituted, by now, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and the dispute raised by the petitioner before the said Committee shall be decided as early as Suresh Kumar 2018.08.31 15:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
