(Oral) Petitioners are seeking direction to the respondents to call them for interview in terms of notice dated 19.08.2018 (P-8) for the post of PGT (Hindi) under EBPGC On 28.08.2018, this Court passed the following order:- "The petitioners have participated in the selection process for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (Hindi) pursuant to advertisement dated 28.06.2015 (Annexure P-1). Petitioner No. 1 belongs to SC category and has secured 98 marks. He had also applied against the physically handicapped (ortho) category. As per the result, the last candidate in the physically handicapped category has secured 100 marks and he is not eligible for the post against the physically handicapped category. However in the SC category, he has got 98 marks and last candidate has also got 98 marks and the petitioner No. 1 has a right to be Gaurav Arora 2019.04.12 16:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 21543-2018 considered against 73 posts reserved for SC category. With regard to petitioner No. 2 he has applied in EPBGC category and has got 96 marks whereas the last candidate has secured 90 marks. Petitioner No. 2 has also been ignored for interview. The interview is fixed for 06.09.2018.

Both the petitioners will be interviewed provisionally and their result be kept in sealed cover."

Thereafter, this Court dismissed petition qua petitioner No. 1 as he secured less marks than the last selected candidate of SC category and OH category as well.

Today, learned State counsel has produced the result of petitioner No. 2 in a sealed cover, which has been opened by the Reader of this Court. As per result, petitioner No. 2 has secured 96 marks in written examination and 12 marks in viva voice (total 108 marks) and and the last candidate has secured 110 marks under EBPGC and 130 under OH category. So, petitioner No. 2 has less marks than the last candidate selected under EBPGC and OH category In view of the above factual position, the writ petition stands dismissed qua petitioner No. 2 as well, as she has secured less marks than the last candidate.

The result has been returned back in original to learned State counsel in the Court today.
