***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count service period rendered by her from 12.10.1979 to 31.12.1990 on adhoc basis towards seniority, promotion and other consequential benefits with interest @ 24%. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though application/representation dated 28.05.2018 (P-2) was moved to the respondents followed by reminder dated 13.06.2018 (P-3) but till date neither any response has been received nor any conscious decision has been taken. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2- Director Higher Education, Panchkula (Haryana) to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in application/representation (P-2) and to decide the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order passed by the concerned authority, she shall be at liberty to approach this Court as well as to have recourse to the other remedies available under law.
