       Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 submits that during the pendency of the petition, the respondent-authorities have issued a new policy dated 22.12.2021 for the purposes of determining the environmental compensation. He further submits that the issues raised by the petitioner would be re-examined for the purposes of re-determining the environmental compensation in terms of the newly notified policy dated 22.12.2021 and the authorities while doing so shall give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for respondent No.2 and in terms thereof, the petition stands disposed of. The petitioner would be at liberty to raise all the issues before the respondentauthorities while the authorities will take up the exercise of re-determining the issue of environmental compensation including the issue of the amount already deposited by the petitioner.
