(Oral) The present petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to keep the petitioner in service on some supernumerary post up to the age of 60 years and release the salary w.e.f 01.08.2016. On notice, a reply dated 20.08.2018 has been filed by the respondents stating there in that claim of the petitioner has already been settled by the department, vide order dated 03.08.2017 (R-1). The salary of the petitioner has been released for the period from 01.08.2016 to 31.07.2017 and he shall be entitled to benefit of salary till he remains bed ridden. It has also been decided to allow the benefit of extension in service beyond 58 years. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition.
