***** JASPAL SINGH, J.(Oral) Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to decide review application filed against the order dated 20.12.2017 (P-7) passed by respondent No.2. 2.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that though review application against order dated 20.12.2017 (P-7) passed by respondent No.2 was preferred before the Director General of Police, Haryana-respondent No.2 on 23.01.2018 but till date the same has not been dealt with and disposed of finally. He further submits that petitioner was called personally for hearing and in response thereto, he visited the office of respondent No.2 but he was not given any hearing.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Panchkula (Haryana) to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in review application (P-9) and to decide the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court as well as to have recourse to the other remedies available under law.
