The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner with regard to allotment of plot/shop in New Sabzi Mandi, Ludhiana, in lieu of Shop No. 35-B duly registered in his favour by the Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the old Sabzi Mandi, Ludhiana had been de-notified. However, no document has been appended with the present writ petition to show that the old Sabzi Mandi, was de-notified.
