Learned counsel for the petitioner submits at the outset that in the wake of the fact that a Special Leave Petition against the judgment rendered by a Division Bench of this Court dated 01.07.2009 in Civil Writ Petition No. 3445 of 2003
 



       is pending consideration before the Supreme Court and particularly when operation of the judgment in so far as the direction issued to videograph the selection process has since been stayed, he be permitted to withdraw the petition at this stage to await the decision in the said matter, and if necessary, the petitioner may file a fresh petition for redressal of his grievances.
