***** DEEPINDER SINGH NALWA, J.(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to comply with the conditions/procedure prescribed under the Depot Allotment Policy dated 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-4) with regard to filling up of new vacancies or opening of new Fair Price Shops (Ration Depot). 2.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the public notice (Annexure P-5) issued by the respondents is not in conformity with the Depot Allotment Policy dated 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-4). Reference is made to vacancies referred at Serial No.82 and 83 of the list (Annexure P-6) . Learned senior counsel submits that in light of the abovesaid policy dated 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-4), vacancies RAMANDEEP SINGH 2026.05.27 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-17349-2026 (O&M) 2 could not have been advertised in the village mentioned at Serial No.82 and 83 of the list (Annexure P-6).

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-State, on instructions from Sh. Anil Duggal, Superintendent, office of Director, Department of Food & Supply, Sector 39-C, Chandigarh, submits that the vacancies will be filled in conformity with the conditions mentioned in the Depot Allotment Policy dated 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-4).

In light of the abovesaid statement given by the learned State counsel, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be disposed of at this stage with a liberty to file an application for revival of the same, if any cause still survives.

In view of the above submission, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
