Learned State counsel has informed the Court that order dated 23.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) passed in CWP-8714-2026 already stands complied with and he has handed over a copy of letter dated 19.06.2026 issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Amritsar, the relevant extract of which reads as under:- "Sir/Madam, With reference to the subject cited above, it is respectfully submitted that compliance in accordance with due procedure has been duly executed by this office.

COCP-2844-2026 in CWP-8714-2026 -2As per the interim directions issued vide order dated 23.03.2026 in CWP No.8714 of 2026, the termination of Mrs. Maninderpal Kaur, Cluster Coordinator, was stayed. Consequent upon the administrative verification and due process, the salary payments of the said official have been processed and released on 01.06.2026 for the period from October 2024 to 31st May 2026.

Please note that the salary for the period of her maternity leave which already has been paid, spanning from 03.03.2025 to 29.08.2025, has been deducted/excluded from this disbursement.

This is for your kind information and necessary official record."

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact, however, he submits that since the details have not been provided in the aforesaid communication, there may be some discrepancies as regards the payment of salary in respect of few days. 4.

Keeping in view the aforesaid stand taken by learned counsel for the respective parties, the present contempt petition is disposed of with the observations that in case if there is any discrepancy as regards the payment, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a representation to the concerned/competent authority within a period of two weeks from today and an appropriate order shall be passed thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter, on submission of such representation (if any). 5.
