The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of: i.

order dated 08.01.2026 whereby Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur has constituted a 3-Member Committee to manage affairs of the Mata Mansa Devi Mandir; and ii.

investigation report dated 05.09.2022 submitted by Tehsildar, Sangrur.

It is further seeking stay of operation of order dated 08.01.2026.

The petitioner is a committee which was registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 23.11.2000. It is managing affairs of

-2Mandir Shri Mansa Devi, Nabha Gate, Sangrur. Respondent No.4-Tehsildar, Sangrur vide report dated 05.09.2022 recommended the dissolution of private committee and observed that a new committee appointed by District Administration should be formed. Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur vide order dated 08.01.2026 has constituted a 3-Member Committee to manage the affairs of Mandir Shri Mansa Devi. CWP-PIL-50 of 2025 was filed before this Court alleging mismanagement of Mandir Shri Mansa Devi which was disposed of vide order dated 24.03.2026 keeping in view order dated 08.01.2026 passed by Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur. 3.

Learned State counsel submits Gulshan Verma filed CWP-PIL-50 of 2025 before this Court seeking implementation of report dated 05.09.2022. In the present case, same report is sought to be quashed. The petitioner has further pointed out report/order dated 08.01.2026 of Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur. The aforesaid order was also considered in aforesaid PIL. There seems no reason to entertain present petition just on the ground that it is filed by a different person. 4.

From the perusal of record, it is evident that there is allegation of misappropriation of funds/affairs of Mandir Shri Mansa Devi, Nabha Gate, Sangrur. The petitioner is seeking setting aside of investigation report dated 05.09.2022 prepared by Tehsildar, Sangrur and order dated 08.01.2026 passed by Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur. Both the documents were considered by Division Bench of this Court while passing order in aforesaid PIL. One person filed PIL and another person for the same cause has filed writ petition. There seems no reason to interfere in the impugned order.
