PP, UT, Chandigarh --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for extension of parole for 2 months to the petitioner, who was granted parole for 42 days by respondent no.1 vide release warrant dated 15.5.2024 and was directed to surrender on 18.7.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has surrendered before the jail authorities. Hence, no question of extension of parole to the petitioner remains. He prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file afresh on the new cause of action. 3.

Prayer is accepted.
