(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to revise and fix the pay of the petitioners on the post of Assistant Lineman as per the revised pay structure i.e. "Electricity Wing of Engineering Department, U.T., Chandigarh Employees (Revised Pay), Rules, 2023" notified on 14.06.2023 (Annexure P-6) which were adopted by respondent No.2 vide office order dated 18.01.2025 (Annexure P-11).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, on instructions from the petitioners, submits that the petitioners will be satisfied, if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the representations dated 16.05.2026 (Annexures P-12 to P-15) submitted by the petitioners in a time-bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representations dated 16.05.2026 (Annexures P-12 to P-15), submitted by the petitioners, in accordance with law/rule, within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
