Learned State counsel submits that the last candidate selected in the category in which the petitioner had competed has secured 142 marks, whereas, the petitioner has secured 130 marks which also includes the marks of interview, hence, the petitioner has not been able to secure the minimum marks required to participate in further selection process. 3.

Probably, due to said fact, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners to rebut the same.
