The present appeal has been preferred by the claimantappellants challenging the award dated 06.01.2012 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Patiala whereby the claim petition filed by the claimant-appellants was dismissed.

On 13.10.2023 the counsel earlier representing the appellants had stated that appellant No.1 - Paramjit Kaur - had expired and that the other appellants had not approached him and hence pleaded no instructions. In view of the statement made by counsel for the appellants on 13.10.2023, notice was issued to the appellants by ordinary process as well as by JITENDER KUMAR 2024.02.13 10:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment Chandigarh

FAO No.1724 of 2012 -22024:PHHC:019460 affixation. As per office report, notice issued to the appellants have been received back unserved with the report that they have left the given address. Today none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants. 3.

In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 4.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
