*** Rajiv Narain Raina, J.(Oral) Mr. Singla has produced a letter dated 08.05.2017 from the Legal Cell, Central Airmen Selection Board, Brar Square, Delhi Cantt addressed to 12 Wing, AF (OIC Legal Cell) in which it is intimated that the petitioner had applied for both Group 'X' and 'Y' recruitment processes. He failed to qualify in Group 'X' and therefore, could not be appointed from that source. He passed in Group 'Y' securing 18/30 marks but could not make it to the zone of consideration since the last selected candidate in his category had secured higher merit in the open competition. The name of the last selected candidate as per number of advertised vacancies figured at serial No.955 while the petitioner was much lower down at serial No.1045 and as a result could not be offered appointment. It is not disputed that the petitioner had applied in both categories, therefore, no orders are required to be passed in the application for amending the petition to introduce a fact, which is admitted.
