(Oral) Present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed seeking directions to respondents No.1 & 2 to ensure that the petitioners, who are neither an accused nor have any involvement in case FIR No.0057 dated 22.04.2025 under Sections 103, 351(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka, are not illegally harassed by respondent No.3 and other police officials.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed representation dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P2) before respondent No.3 raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. At this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioners in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioners and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioners expeditiously, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
