Mr. Ashok Kumar Khunger, Advocate for the petitioner. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner who is complainant in case FIR No. 000163 , dated 12.07.2020, under Sections 324, 323, 341, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station City-1 Abohar, District Fazilka, has preferred present petition praying for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos. 5 to 7 besides directing the official respondents to conduct proper and fair investigation in the alleged FIR.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the said FIR is not being properly investigated and he is being threatened by respondent Nos. 5 to 7 to withdraw the FIR. Despite the petitioner having made a complaint dated 19.08.2020 (Annexure P-2) addressed to respondent No. 3, no action has so far been taken.

Without in any way commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the said representation and take appropriate action as may be warranted in law.
