Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.169 dated 24.07.2020 registered under Sections 420 IPC & under Section 13 Punjab Travel Professional (Regulation) Act, at Police Station Bhogpur, District Jalandhar, Punjab.

Notice of motion was issued on 01.12.2020, when the petitioner showed his willingness to sit across the table with the complainant and sort out the dispute with him and would handover the amount allegedly taken from the complainant. Interim protection was granted to the petitioner, thereby restraining the Police from taking coercive steps against the petitioner. CRM-M-39734-2020(O&M) petitioner submitted that the petitioner is still ready to sit across the table with the complainant in order to strike an amicable resolution of dispute by returning the sum of money allegedly taken by him from the complainant.

Learned counsel for the complainant submits that till date the amount has not been paid to the complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioner pleads no instructions.

At this stage, in view of pathetic attitude of the petitioner, no indulgence can be granted in favour of the petitioner.

This petition is accordingly dismissed.
