G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner is challenging the action of respondent no. 3 whereby, decision has been taken to relieve the petitioner from the post of an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering on account of the low strength of the students by giving one month's notice by letter dated 08.06.2017 (Annexure P-5).

Admittedly, in view of the Division Bench judgment in Management of S.D. Model Sr. Sec. School and another vs. District Judge-cum-Service Tribunal and another, 2014 (2) PLR 89, the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy to approach the Education Tribunal consisting of the District & Sessions Judge of the concerned district in view of the notification issued by this Court and by the State Government whereby, the scope of the said Tribunal has been expanded. Faced with the said circumstances, counsel does not press the present writ petition and prays for withdrawal of the same with liberty to approach the said Forum for the redressal of his grievances. Ordered accordingly.
