(ORAL) Through the instant writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a direction for release of payment of the petitioner pertaining to the work orders already executed and completed as per Annexures P1 to P8. The petitioner has already sent a legal notice Annexure P9, dated 21.1.2017.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, if a direction is issued to respondent no.2, Executive Engineer, PWD (B&R), Gurdaspur, to consider the legal notice Annexure P9, dated 21.1.2017, by passing a speaking order.
