*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. The custody certificate filed by the State counsel be taken on record. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Hari Om has informed that the trial is at the fag end, inasmuch as the prosecution has already examined all the witnesses and now the next date of hearing fixed before the trial Court is 4.2.2021 for defence evidence and arguments. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, no case for grant of regular bail to the petitioner is made out. The petition stands dismissed, however, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously. Of course, the accused shall cooperate by bringing defence evidence, if any at the earliest and address arguments through his counsel and the trial Court is expected not to grant any adjournment without any justifiable reason.
