Through the instant writ petition, petitioner has sought direction to the respondents to appoint him to the post of Public Relation Officer in view of his merit. Since the petitioner has sought relief against the Chandigarh Administration, the issue of maintainability is raised. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh or to avail any other remedy available to him.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
