Prayer in the instant writ petition, inter alia, is for issuance of directions to respondents to provide answer-sheet and revised answer-sheet in respect of recruitment process conducted for the post of Assistant Professor (Economics).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner participated in the selection process initiated to fill up the post of Assistant Professor(Economics). She was very much sanguine about her success, but her name did not figure in the final merit list. Representation dated 24.01.2020(Annexure P-5) seeking information relating to the selection process was filed by her. Despite lapse of more than ten months, no response has been received by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the genuine prayer as per representation dated 24.01.2020(Annexure P-5). 4.

In view of restricted prayer of the petitioner, no further pleadings are required. Without adverting to the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to objectively consider the representation (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioner and decide the same by passing an appropriate order, as expeditiously as possible, on receipt of a certified copy of this order.
