Mr. Arjun Atri, Advocate for the petitioners. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 & 2 to provide protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondent No.3.

It is the case of the petitioner that FIR No.141 dated 17.09.2020 was registered at P.S Rozka Meo, District Mewat against Rahul and eleven other accused. The petitioners are not accused in the said FIR. It is stated that said Rahul, who is son of petitioner No.1, never resided with the petitioners. It is stated that the petitioners are being harassed by the police by being frequently called to the Police Station without adhering to the mandatory provisions of law contemplated under Section 160 Cr.P.C in the guise of inquiry, at the behest of respondent No.3. They have been made to sit there and sent back in the evening. They are not even aware about the whereabouts of said Rahul.
