Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), seeking a direction to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran, to decide the appeal bearing No. CRA/155/2019, titled 'Sandeep Singh Vs. Lakhbir Singh' (arising out of NACT No. 136 of 2018), in a time-bound manner. 2.

By noticing that the appeal is pending before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran, since 2019, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Court concerned to decide the pending appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 3.
