(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court by way of present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, inter alia direction to the official respondents to carry out the process of election and voting for the ensuing Municipal Committee at Majitha, District Amritsar as per the list of voters duly finalized and approved on the relevant date for the purpose of Municipal Corporation election as per the provisions of law. 2.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies available to him, in accordance with law.

Dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies available to him in accordance with law.
