(Oral) In the present petition, the petitioners are seeking quashing of order dated 19.07.2018 (P-5) whereby the cases are invited for promotion to the post of Principal without finalizing the seniority list of Lecturers (School Cadre)/PGT since 1998 till date.

On notice, a short reply by way of affidavit has been filed on 24.09.2018 by the respondents stating therein that vide letter dated 19.09.2019, the letter dated 19.07.2018 whereby cases were sent for promotion to the post of Principal has been withdrawn till further orders. Now the concerned Branch i.e PGT- II has been informed that the seniority list as stood on 05.04.2017 has some objections, which are to removed. Now cases for promotion to the post of Principals shall be invited when the final seniority list will be released by the concerned Branch i.e PGT II after removing the objections in the seniority list of PGT.
