=%%$ 4!%<5 The present petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing official respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents, who are threatening the petitioner along with alternate prayer to decide the representation dated 19.06.2023 (Annexure P 2).

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be contended and satisfied in case petitioner is permitted to file fresh representation and the direction be issued to the concerned authority to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Given the petitioner's stand, the present petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file fresh detailed representation with documents if any within 15 days from today and in case such representation is filed, the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police, who either personally or delegate the same to any IPS Officer under him, shall decide the same within 45 days from date of its Sonia Arora 2023.07.28 16:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 



    receipt by passing a speaking and reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the representationists without delay.

Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition or to take other legal remedies in accordance with the law, in case the petitioners are not satisfied with the outcome.

It is clarified that there is no adjudication on merits and this order shall not come in the way if the interrogation of the petitioner is required in any cognizable case.
