Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 06.02.2016 (Annexure P-6). Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that before the issuance of the impugned order petitioner had moved representation Annexure P-5 that he may not be transferred on medical grounds. However, no action has been taken on the same so far and rather vide order Annexure P-6, petitioner has been directed to join his duty on the transferred place. Presently, petitioner is availing joining period.
Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to dispose of the representation Annexure P-5 moved by the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within one week from the receipt of certified copy of this order.
