In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus to direct respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct a vigilance enquiry against respondent No.10 with regard to the embezzlement of Govt. grants and panchayat funds.

After arguing for some time, when the Bench was not agreeing with the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel prayed that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition. 3.
