In the present petition, the petitioner is claiming that he should be considered under the category of BC-B instead of BC-A in respect of the posts which were advertised vide advertisement No. 10/2015 dated 24.11.2015 annexed as Annexure P-1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner had applied for the post of clerk under the Ex-serviceman (BC-B) category but the petitioner has not been allowed to compete in the selection process and that too without giving any valid justification. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that under the interim order of the Court, the petitioner had competed for the post in question. Hence, the respondents be directed in case, the petitioner, keeping in view of his overall merit, he is entitled for consideration under BCB category the same be extended to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the provisional result of the petitioner will be opened and in case, on the basis of the marks secured by the petitioner in the written examination for the post in question, the petitioner is found eligible for the grant of any benefit of recommendation of his name against the post of clerk, an appropriate order will be passed RIYA 2024.02.23 13:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
