*** JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is serving as a Lecturer in English with the Department of the Secondary Education, Punjab. She has remained posted at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Guru Har Sahai, District Ferozepur since the year 2008.

By filing the present petition, challenge has been made to the order dated 23.08.2018 (Annexure P-17) whereby she has been transferred to Government Senior Secondary School, Hazara Singh Wala, District Ferozepur. It is averred that the transfer order has been passed on the complaint made by the Principal of the school, against whom the petitioner along with Gurnam Singh, Master have filed complaints of embezzlement leading to initiation of departmental inquiry against the Principal. The petitioner is also stated to be NCC Incharge in the school and as per the policy can only be transferred to a school where NCC activities are undertaken.

CWP No.22059 of 2018 (O & M) -2In view of the ten years tenure of the petitioner at the previous school, this Court is not inclined to interfere. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction from his client seeks permission to withdraw the present petition to enable his client to puruse his remedy before the Government. Dismissed as withdrawn.
