**** ALOK JAIN, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 13.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners got married on 15.11.2022 and thereafter, they were living a happy married life. However, after the demise of the father of petitioner No. 1, the private respondents have started threatening the petitioners of their life and liberty qua which they gave a representation (Annexure P-4) directly to the Superintendent of Police, Nuh on 19.07.2023 through email ID (highcourt2707@gmail.com) at around 02:25 P.M. 2023:PHHC:096633 CRWP-7398-2023 Serious allegations of threat to kill have been made but the petitioners chose not to lodge an FIR against their own family members for this criminal offence and instead of that, they have approached this Court for protection.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners at length and I do not find any threat perception much less pleaded in the petition. The allegations are absolutely vague and bald.

While the Court dictated the above order, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition, at this stage. 6.

Accordingly, without commenting any further on the merits of the case, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
