This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 to take action on the representation dated 16.10.2020 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage he would be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 16.10.2020 (Annexure P-1). Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Ramandeep Sandhu, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab has joined the session through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. Learned State counsel has pointed out that the concerned authority would be the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural), who has not been arrayed as a party in the present petition. He, however, has no objection if the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural) to decide the representation dated 16.10.2020 (Annexure P-1).
