The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 15.04.2026 (Annexure P-16), whereby the prayer of the petitioners for correcting their seniority in the seniority list, issued vide order dated 13.11.2025 (Annexure P-10) in terms of their objections on the basis of their retrospective promotion, vide orders dated 09.07.2025 (Annexure P-7) and dated 11.07.2025 (Annexure P-8) with effect from 21.07.2022 and 09.09.2024 respectively, has been declined, while recording wrong date of promotion of the petitioners on the post of Lecturer as 05.08.2025. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to correct the seniority of the petitioners in the seniority list dated 13.11.2025 (Annexure P-10), and grant them all consequential benefits including further promotion to from the post of Lecturers to VINAY 2026.05.29 10:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

After arguing the case for some time, learned assisting counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars by impleading the necessary parties as respondents. 3.
