Grievance of the petitioner is that he retired from service on 31.10.2001, after serving more than 36 years in Special Security Bureau. He requested for revision of his pension from 1.1.2006 vide letter dated 6.8.2014 (Annexure P-1). Though the case of the petitioner was recommended by the Deputy Commandant, 5th Bn Special Security Bureau, Champawat (UK) to the Senior Account Officer vide letter dated 19.8.2014, however, till date nothing has been done.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merit of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.4 to take a final decision on the claim made by the petitioner in representation dated 6.8.2014 (Annexure P1). The needful shall be done within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
