The present petition is for protection of life and liberty to the petitioner, who is an unmarried girl and does not want to succumb to the pressure of private respondents No. 3 to 5 to get married. 2.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3.

On asking of the Court, Mr. I.P.S. Sabharwal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of State/respondents No.1 to 3.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the presnt petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Station House Officer (SHO), Village Dakoli, District Zirakpur, to take into consideration the request of the petitioner made vide representation dated 10.07.2023 & 24.07.2023 (Annexures P-3 & P-4 respectively) and take necessary action, in accordance with law.
