The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of the restricted functioning of the Courts. 2.

As per the statements of the learned counsel for the parties, respectively, made before this Bench, it has been agreed that a sum of 5,50,000/- (Five Lacs Fifty Thousand only) over and above the amount ₹ awarded by the Tribunal shall be paid to the appellant in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal, by the Insurance Company. As per the statement of the learned counsel for the appellant, the enhanced amount shall be paid to the appellant, within a period of 45 days. 3.

Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2021.08.19 15:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

F.A.O. No. 6128 of 2011 (O&M) Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for 5,50,000/- in the name ₹ of the appellant with the office of the Lok Adalat at the High Court, in compliance of this order, failing with an interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount till payment from the date of this order. 4.

The concerned Officer of the Lok Adalat Branch/Office shall, after receiving the cheque, issue a proper receipt to the learned counsel/representative of the respondent-Insurance Company. The appellant's counsel/appellant(s) may collect the cheque from the office of the Lok Adalat.

A copy of this order be supplied/sent to the counsel/parties and file be returned to the Hon'ble High Court.
