The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her children, which is in danger at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 10.

On asking of the Court, Mr. I.P.S. Sabharwal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of State/respondents No.1 to 3.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, to take into consideration the request of the petitioner made vide representations dated 06.04.2023 & 08.05.2023 (Annexures P-1 & P-2 respectively) and take necessary action, in PARUL 2023.07.28 15:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
