(Oral) The prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the notification dated 03.01.2007 (Annexure P-1) issued under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short 'the Act'), which was followed by the notification dated 02.01.2008 (Annexure P-2) issued under Section 6 of the Act. A further prayer has been made for release of land as per Section 24 of the Act i.e. the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in the Land Acquisition Act, 2013. 2.

Earlier, the petitioner had approached this Court by way of CWP No. 8123 of 2014, seeking same relief, wherein, order dated 1st May, 2014 (Annexure P-9) was passed by this Court, directing the respondents to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner. 3.

In such a situation, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file a contempt petition, as no order in compliance of the JAWALA RAM 2015.03.26 15:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
