(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release all admissible service/death/retiral benefits of deceased husband of the petitioner along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of death till date of payment.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner expired on 09.02.2024 and till date no retiral benefits have been released to the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner has also served a legal notice dated 12.05.2026 (Annexure P-6).

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide legal notice dated 12.05.2026 (Annexure P-6), served by the petitioner, in accordance with law/rule, within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
