The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner with all consequential benefits with interest @ 12% p.a. (2).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the respondent/State to decide the legal notice dated 02.04.2026 (Annexure P5).

Ms. Ruchi Sekhri, Addl. AG Haryana, having served with an advance copy of the petition, has put in appearance on behalf of respondent/State and assures the Court that the above-said representation will be decided within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.2Director General, Department of Women and Child Development, Haryana is directed to decide the representation dated 02.04.2026 (Annexure P5), within a period of 8 weeks from today, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. A copy of speaking order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
